Christmas Cards Bring Joy in Pakistan

In 2007 we chose to send out christmas cards by email. The money saved on stamps was donated to UNICEF's World Gifts programme.
One of the gifts was a School-in-a-Box which has now been send to Pakistan and gives up to 80 children the opportunity to go to school. The box contains such as books, pencils, scissors, blackboard, chalk and other essential school equipment.
Halima is back to school
7 year-old Halima is one of many children in Pakistan who is benefitting from UNICEF's School-in-a-Box. Last July she lost both her home and school, when a flood hit her hometown Dat in southwestern Pakistan.
Halima now attends one of the two temporary schools in Dat, each of which have received a School-in-a-Box, where one of them was donated by TimeLog.
Besides the School-in-a-Box, we donated a midwife kit and a well.
